Focusrite Liquid Channel (click here to visit the site) |
The Liquid Channel is quite a departure from Focusrite’s ‘analogue hardware’ roots. Here it has married the best of its analogue input design with some serious DSP, and its long experience in coding plug-ins to produce a hybrid signal processor like no other Legendary producer and engineer, Elliot Mazer stated “I was impressed with Liquid Channel’s ability to simulate the sounds of the mike preamps I am used to, such as the 1081, 1073, 610. etc!” Mr. Mazer’s notable credits include: Janis Joplin, Neil Young, The Who, Santana, P!NK, and The Band. Noel from Ma Music Studio: "Imagine the sound of our legendary Neumann U87 together with the Liquid Channel in the great sounding Mackie D8B.
